Believe It or Not

As I sit here on a hot July evening feeling the warm wind blowing on my face and hearing the chirps and the owls in the night. I look up and see the stars shining bright in the sky and I wonder why people have to be so negative and say hurtful things about people. Is it because they are bitter about that person? Is it because they are jealous and are trying to make this person look bad in other peoples eyes? Is it because they just don't know any better?

In my opinion when people talk negative about other people they themselves are the ones that look like a fool. Shame on the person for listening to this fool and for actually believing what the fool says, and to go one step farther and to treat the person badly because of what they heard.

1 Peter 3:10 says "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech". If someone wants to be unkind and ungrateful and talk negative all the time about others, "More Power to THEM" They are the only one hurting themselves. No sweat off my back. God says to "Love One Another" talking negative about someone and actually believing what you hear and treating this person accordingly is wrong. You Reap What you Sow

I pray every day for people like this. I am simple and life is not easy, but kindness goes a long way. If you are reading this and you have been negative or talked badly about someone or been the person that has treated the person badly because of something someone said, try being kind. Try putting up a wall when the negative words start to come out. Make your own decision about the person. I pray for all to have a happy and blessed life.
